Kayla Hamilton traveled to St. Croix as part of her continued work with Paloma McGregor on a long term project about Paloma’s father’s fishing tradition, called Building a Better Fishtrap / A’we deh ya (All of Us Are Here). Paloma has partnered with a team of collaborators across St. Croix and New York to bring the project to life.
The trip to St. Croix marked her father’s 100th birthday, serving as both research and celebration.
