About: This celebratory evening will feature performances by movement artist and access-centered educator Kayla Hamilton, Dance/NYC grantee Felipe Escalante’s justice-driven dance collective—Tabula Rasa Dance Theater, an embodied land acknowledgment by Cliff Matias of the Red Hawk Native American Arts Council, and music by DJ kevin gotkin.
We will proudly present our 2025 Dance Advocate Award to legendary ballroom icon, choreographer, and creative director Courtney Washington and our 2025 Dance Catalyst Award to nationally recognized arts leader and dance champion Sara Nash.
